Interim Director of Business Development at British Council
Sylvia joined the British Council in China in 2022 and currently holds the position of interim Director of Business Development, Exams. She is leading the British Council’s China business development strategy to build strategic partnerships, expand sales channels and drive business growth for its global exam portfolio in China, including IELTS, Aptis, professional qualifications, and University and school exams. Before joining the British Council in China, for 15 years, Sylvia has been leading a few UK universities’ international student acquisition and institutional partnership development in East Asia and Oceania markets for the UK Higher Education sector.
